Vegetable-Tanned Leather
From Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
Our leather comes from Guadalajara's historic tanneries, where hides are processed using natural tannins derived from tree bark — a method unchanged for centuries. The result is leather with a warm, natural hand that develops beautiful patina over years of use. Each hide carries unique markings that tell its story.

Care Guide
Wipe with a damp cloth as needed. Condition with natural leather balm every 3–6 months. Keep away from direct heat sources. Exposure to sunlight will deepen the color naturally — this is part of the leather's character. Avoid chemical cleaners.
Sustainability
Vegetable tanning uses only natural plant-based tannins, making it an environmentally responsible alternative to chrome tanning.
