Carlos works exclusively with vegetable-tanned leather from Guadalajara's historic tanneries. His approach is minimal — he lets the material speak. Each piece is hand-stitched using traditional saddle-stitch technique, creating seams that strengthen over time. The leather he selects develops rich patina with years of use.

Trained under a master saddlemaker in Jalisco, Carlos spent ten years perfecting traditional leatherwork before turning to furniture. His collaboration with HACHE focuses on seating and accessories where the warmth and durability of natural leather can be fully appreciated.
